SIX CLI

SteamInput eXtended allows dynamic injection into Steam, reloading settings without restarting Steam, or monitor the SteamInput eXtended module inside of Steam using a CLI application.

Available commands

• --help
  Prints help onto the CLI
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe --help
  Also works as addendum to any other command
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe <command> --help

• inject
  Injects SteamInput eXtended into Steam, in case SteamInput eXtended files aren't inside Steams directory
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe inject

• eject
  Ejects SteamInput and restarts Steam.
  This will not work if SteamInput eXtended files are installed into Steams directory.
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe eject

• reload
  Attempts to reload the SteamInput eXtended configuration file
  Might fail, restarting Steam is often the better option.
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe reload

• monitor
  Prints a log stream of an already injected SteamInput eXtended onto the CLI
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe monitor
  Can also be combined with inject, and allows changing the log-level on the fly
  > ./SteamInputExtended.exe monitor --inject --log.level debug
